USDA Supervisor

ChildSavers has an immediate opening for a professional to join our team in the role of USDA

Supervisor.  This position will supervise the staff in overseeing the Child and Adult Care Food Program including technical assistance and training coordination for childcare providers.  This position operates under the direct supervision of the Child Development Services Program Manager.

Core areas of responsibility include overseeing claim processing, manages database systems to ensure that all compliance areas are met, processes provider applications to USDA which includes establishing provider tier status through school, census and income, and updates master list monthly.   Oversees monthly menu review and monitoring process and oversees training sessions for monitoring staff, leadership team, and works with trainer to ensure all providers are trained annually in CACFP standards.

This position will develop and implement a recruitment plan for market saturation growth of new providers, and implement a retention plan for current providers.

An appropriate degree (i.e. child development, social work, or other human service areas) from an accredited school, and/or at least three years professional experience providing direct services to children and families or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required.
