ChildSavers has an immediate opening for a knowledgeable professional to join our team supporting our Vice President, Administration and Human Resources. ChildSavers is in a beautiful, child friendly building atop of scenic and historic Church Hill, Richmond, VA.

Successful candidates should possess an Associate’s degree, or completion of some college coursework or business oriented certificate program, and 1-2 years’ experience working in a professional office setting or equivalent work experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize job responsibilities and multi task in a busy, professional setting required.

This position requires computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. and typing skills (avg. of 50 wpm). The successful candidate will possess the ability to exercise sound judgment and excellent customer service while interfacing with employees, the public, in person and on the telephone, and the ability to work independently and as a team player. Must possess a valid VA Driver’s license and have good driving record.

The core areas of responsibility in this position include administrative and human resources duties, including maintaining personnel files, handling IT, maintenance, and housekeeping requests, administrative onboarding of new employees, meeting coordination, and scheduling and providing front desk coverage. The position requires a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. They will work closely and effectively with the Vice President of Administration and Human Resources (VPAHR) to keep her/him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and will follow up appropriately. They will demonstrate leadership by maintaining credibility, trust and support with employees and work closely with the VPAHR to maintain accreditation requirements in all aspects of the organization.
