ChildSavers has an immediate opening for a knowledgeable professional to join our team supporting our Vice President, Administration and Human Resources. ChildSavers is in a beautiful, child friendly building atop of scenic and historic Church Hill, Richmond, VA.
Successful candidates should possess an Associate’s degree, and 1-2 years experience working in a professional office setting or equivalent work experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize job responsibilities and multi task in a busy, professional setting required.
This position requires computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. and typing skills (avg. of 50 wpm). The ability to exercise sound judgment and excellent customer service required while interfacing with employees, the public, in person and on the telephone. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Core areas of responsibility include maintaining and updating employee resources to include updating job descriptions and performance appraisal tools. Conduct onboarding/orientation with all new employees, student interns and volunteers. Serve as primary liaison between staff and IT contractors. Ensure phone coverage throughout the day and evening. Provide administrative support for accrediting process through the Council on Accreditation under the direction of the VPAHR.
