Child Development Services Project Manager

ChildSavers has an immediate opening for a Project Manager role with our Child Development Services team. ChildSavers is in a beautiful, child friendly building atop of scenic and historic Church Hill, Richmond, VA.

This position involves administrative/strategic program responsibilities for development, implementation, supervision and coordination for Child Development Services programs which could include: ChildCare Aware (CCA); Voluntary Registration (VR); and Virginia Infant Toddler Specialist Network (VA ITSN), Virginia Quality and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This position operates under the general direction of Child Development Services Program Manager. ChildSavers offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit plan. Core Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple grants that include planning, preparation, implementation, and day to day oversight
  • Supervision of VA Infant Toddler Specialist Network
  • Quality Assurance for Child Development Services, including coordinating, implementing, and analyzing satisfaction surveys, filing reviews, conducting internal audits to make program changes, and participating in strategic and budget planning and management


An appropriate degree (i.e. child development, social work, or other human service areas) from an accredited school, and at least three years professional experience providing direct services to children and families or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. With specific focus on Infant and Toddler development. Candidates will be extremely organized and have additional experience in supervising, project management, and budget oversight.
