Child Development Services Supervisor

ChildSavers is seeking a Child Development Services (CDS) Program Supervisor with experience in early childhood development.  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years professional experience in a child related field.  This position provides supervision to the CDS staff, as well as those contracted to work within the CDS program.  This position operates under the general direction and supervision of the CDS Program Manager.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with providers, community partners and stakeholders.  The successful candidate will be creative and collaborate with a passionate mission minded staff.  This is a grant funded position.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge of grants management, including basic accounting and financial reporting. Demonstrate the ability to adhere to grant funding requirements, submissions, and budget projections. Demonstrate the ability to supervise staff and contract employees.

Valid VA driver’s license and auto insurance with good driving record required. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising delivery of services within stated agency objectives, policies, practices and approved budget. Monitoring grants to ensure funding is spent appropriately and timely within the requirements of the grant. Utilizing resources and building support with subordinates to assist in fulfilling the goals of the program. Responsibilities also include implementing marketing strategies to improve agency awareness within the community and service delivery area.
