School Based Mental Health Clinicians

ChildSavers is seeking licensed mental health clinicians (LCSW, LPC, and LMFT) to provide school-based mental health services as part of the Richmond Public Schools Resiliency Partnership. This is an opportunity to work with a new program responding to the mental health needs of students and families enrolled in Richmond Public Schools. Strong candidates will have experience with community-based and outpatient mental health with children and families in urban environments, and have skills congruent with trauma-informed care, trauma-focused treatment, family therapy, and play therapy. Exceptional candidates will also possess strong communication skills and knowledge of institutional capacity-building. This clinician will work as part of a collaborative team, in conjunction with the ChildSavers outpatient clinic and Immediate Response teams and the school staff and administration, in order to guide our community’s children through life’s critical moments with trauma-informed mental health services.
Located in a historic building at the top of Church Hill overlooking Shockoe Bottom, ChildSavers is proudly celebrating its 90th year serving children and families of Richmond with our diverse workforce.
