School-Based Therapy
ChildSavers offers therapy to Richmond Public Schools, Hopewell City Public Schools, and Colonial Heights City Public Schools students and families. We also offer in-person therapy sessions for students at our East End clinic. Medicaid and private insurance is accepted.

Therapy for Students
Our partnership with Richmond Public Schools and Hopewell City Public Schools allows us to serve even more children while engaging with families and faculty. We incorporate play and art therapy into your child’s custom, strengths-based treatment plans to make the healing process enjoyable and sustainable.

How to Get Started
The process to starting school-based therapy is simple! To begin, fill out our form for Richmond Public Schools students, Hopewell City Public Schools students, or Colonial Heights City Public School students. Once it is submitted, our case coordinator will be in contact to finish the process. Then, we’ll call to schedule the child’s first appointment where we’ll create a custom treatment plan together based on their needs.
Trauma-Informed Training and Consultation for Educators
ChildSavers also offers ad hoc training, training series, and long-term consultation services including asset mapping and needs assessment to schools and school divisions.
